BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT

Opening Times

  • Monday to Friday 8:00am – 7.30pm
  • Sunday 10.00am – 4.00pm

How to book an appointment

There are three ways to book an appointment with a doctor or another member of our team:

  1. To make a GP appointment for a new or ongoing medical issue and/or administrative help such as sick notes, GP letters or test results – fill out an Online form via accuRx. An appointment will be arranged for you within 48 hours if needed. This service is only available Mon-Fri between 7AM and 5PM
  2. Book an appointment by calling the practice with a patient navigator from 8am in the morning and selecting option 2 for a receptionist to help you complete the triage form for a appointment with a doctor or pharmacist. Please note you can still call at any time for an appointment with our nursing, HCA, and physiotherapy staff.
  3. Book an appointment via the NHS app to book appointments for smears, nursing appointments and administrative appointments.

NB: When booking an appointment via any of the routes above you may be directed to one of the members of our multidisciplinary team who may be better able to assist you with your inquiry. We have a range of specialist healthcare practitioners at the surgery including: physiotherapists, social prescribers, physician associates, paramedics, nurses, healthcare assistants and pharmacists who work closely with the doctors.

CONTINUITY OF CARE & URGENT QUERIES

Continuity of Care

We like to encourage patients to stay with one particular doctor for reasons of continuity and to improve this all patients have been given a usual doctor.  This will improve the continuity we can offer and result in improvements in care.

If your doctor is not visible when trying to book an appointment, it might be because they’re away from the Practice (annual/study leave). Please call reception to seek for an alternative.

Urgent enquiries

Urgent queries can be dealt with on the day. Please telephone first. The emergency doctor is on duty from 8AM until 6.30PM Monday to Friday and 10AM-4PM on Sundays.
