New Patients
We encourage patients to register online. There is no pre-registration requirement. Everyone in the UK has the right to free care from a GP.
If you don’t have proof of ID or address, you can still register. Immigration status or nationality doesn’t matter – reception won’t ask for immigration documents and won’t share your information with the Home Office unless serious crime is involved.

If patients move outside our catchment area we ask them to register elsewhere. We understand this is sometimes upsetting, especially to patients who have been with us a long time but we do have to set limits to our practice area.
Click Here – To check if your postcode is within our practice catchment area, If your postcode isn’t in our catchment area you will not be able to register with us!
You can also come to the Practice to fill out a paper application form if you would prefer.
As soon as your registration is complete, We will send you a text message when your registration has been completed and then you can use our online triage service to contact your doctor directly and get health advice.
Please remember that we can only accept patients who live within our boundary area. To check if you fall within our catchment, go to “Check Our Catchment Area” and check if your postcode is within the catchment area.
All Patients registered with the surgery will have been allocated a named accountable GP who will be responsible for your overall care. However, you can book appointments with any of the GPs at the surgery. If you have a preference to which GP you are allocated, the practice will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your requests. If you wish to know which GP has been allocated to you, please ask reception at your next visit.
If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a Doctor but need to see one, you can receive emergency treatment from the local GP Practice for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient.
You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be on the local Practice list and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months you will have to re-register as a temporary patient or permanently register with that Practice
In recognition of the barriers to healthcare access faced by people in vulnerable circumstances, including migrants, we commit to protecting the human right to health. We will take steps to ensure that everyone in our community may fulfil their entitlement to quality healthcare.
In partnership with Doctors of the World UK, we will ensure that our practice offers a welcoming space for everyone who seeks to use our services. Mindful of our duties to uphold equality and human rights law, we will implement patient registration policies which do not discriminate based on race, gender, sexual orientation, immigration status or any other characteristic.
Supported by the Safe Surgeries initiative, we will ensure that our staff understand the specific barriers faced by migrants in vulnerable circumstances and that they are empowered to mitigate these barriers, where possible. We will ensure that a lack of identification or proof of address, immigration status or language do not prevent patient registration.
As a member of the Safe Surgeries community, we will endeavour to support other Safe Surgeries and, where appropriate, provide feedback to Doctors of the World UK to support the development of the network.
Doctors of the world have a wide range of translated documents for patients to access for free.
