Friends Of Spring Hill (PPG)

Welcome to The Friends of Spring Hill Practice Patient Participation Group. This is a voluntary group that meets regularly to listen to people’s feedback to help improve local services. We warmly welcome all patients to attend our meetings and to get involved in our plans.

We aim to ensure that all patients’ voices are heard about what matters most to them in regard to practice services.

We value your opinion about the current services we offer. We will from time to time ask the members of our representative group some questions, such as: what you think about our access or the quality of the care or service you received.

We need as many people as possible to best represent the opinions of patients of the practice. We want you to feel ownership of the practice and to help us provide the best service possible. We currently need more young people, workers, retirees, people with long-term conditions and people from various ethnic groups so that all patient groups are represented.

If you are interested in joining the group please complete the registration below on the “Becoming a member” page. You can also let the reception staff know and we will contact you to discuss your involvement within the Friends of Spring Hill Practice Patient Participation Group (PPG).

The Pharmacy team at Spring Hill Practice was shortlisted for Pharmacy Team of the Year 2023 at the General Practice Awards!

Need to see a doctor? NHS 111 can help

If you need to see a doctor but can’t get to your local practice you may be able to be seen outside of normal practice hours.
Call 111 and if appropriate, the advisor will be able to schedule you an appointment with a GP – it may not be your usual one – at a local venue. If you could be better treated elsewhere, they will be able to direct you to the best place to suit your needs. 111 is free to call at all times.

Experiencing a mental health problem?

If you are affected by mental health issues over the bank holidays and are not already known to local mental health services, call 111. If you are a service user already, you can access services via your Community Mental Health Team or the out-of-hours GP service.

Emergency care
