Did you miss your HPV vaccine in school?
Patients aged 16 to 25 are being invited to the surgery to catch up on their HPV vaccination if they missed it while at school.
The HPV vaccine is usually offered to boys and girls in Year 8, but some people may not have received it at the time. If you were offered the vaccine at school and missed it, you can still have it any time up to your 25th birthday.
HPV (Human Papillomavirus) is a common virus that can sometimes lead to certain types of cancer, including cervical, head and neck cancers. The vaccine helps protect against these infections.
If you’re not sure whether you’ve had the vaccine, please get in touch with the surgery on 02088066993. Our team can check your records and book you in for an appointment if you need to catch up.
